Thanks to your support, the Beggs Lab at Boston Children's Hospital has been able to lead the world’s most advanced genetic research into Selenon-Related Myopathy (Selenon RM). Our funds are directly contributing to groundbreaking work aimed at understanding the genetic basis of Selenon RM, which is a critical step in developing potential treatments and ultimately, a cure. Together, we are advancing the science and creating hope for families affected by this rare disease.

We are excited to announce that we are working on an agreement with University College Cork to expand the global effort in researching Selenon RM. We are eager to collaborate with them on an innovative project that could lead to breakthrough therapies. More details will be shared soon as we finalize this important partnership.
